Hi there,
I’ve gotta say, I really like WordPress!

On WordPress, I’m able to discover new bloggers and writers easily. I can like, comment and reblog articles in seconds. With limited time, I’m able to quickly bookmark articles to read later.

I’ve connected with many book bloggers and fellow authors.
My articles are either about my experiences as a stay-at-home-writer-mom or specific updates about my writing career. I’ve talked about sleepless nights, breastfeeding, book reviews and sales.
It’s really been a great blend of personal enjoyment and professional growth.

I’ve never been one to keep a diary or journal, so I was reluctant to blog. However, I think I’m getting the hang of it. I’m finding that balance between opening up enough for readers to get to know me and bring to distant and vague.
My big concern was oversharing to the point of making myself and my family vulnerable. I’ll continue to watch out for this, even if our current culture expects and maybe addicted to a world without privacy.
Overall, I’m glad that I’ve made a splash! I’ve put myself out there and some people (strangers) have connected with my message, my values and me. Thank you for taking and interest in my writing.
To the WordPress community, I hope you’re enjoying your reading and/or writing experience too!
Love,
Azaaa Davis

Congrats on all the milestones! Sometimes when a day isn’t going as planned, I’ll get a “warm fuzzy” from wordpress–likes, comments, etc.–and it’ll turn the whole thing around!

Exactly! I’m not a blogger but it’s nice to know some people care about my writing progress or glimpses of my life as a new mom. It’s encouraging.

Hi Azaaa,
Congratulations on hitting 100 likes on your blog. I have been receiving your newsletters and wasn’t aware that you had your own website and blog. I think it’s exciting that I live in the same area of NH that you live in. I kept missing your book signings as I didn’t know about them until after the fact. But, I purchased all of your books on kindle. I can’t wait to read them.
Take care and congrats on the birth of your new baby girl.

It’s good to hear from you, Wanda. This message from you is definitely a nice surprise at the end of a very long, rollercoaster ride kind of day. Thank you! 🙂
