Hi Readers,
Each week, I’ll share a nature photo that means something to me.
Most will be my own photos taken while on nature walks and outings in New Hampshire.
While it may not seem writing related, I want to share some of my other interests and hobbies as well as the things that fuel my imagination and happiness.

Going on a nature walk was an essential part of my day as a stay-at-home writer-mom. I could come up with plenty of activities to do at home or in our yard, but leaving the house daily invigorated us. It sparked our imagination and curiosity, while also providing tranquility. More recently, nature walks have been moved to the weekends and it’s become a once in a while thing. While my schedule is fuller and more structured now that I’m working, I still make family walks on rail trails or at local parks a regular part of our lives.
Most of the nature photos I will share were taken by me while on long walks with my little ones.
I hope seeing this image of a tree by a stream with boards nailed into it for climbing inspires you. I hope all of the photos I share encourage you to go out and embrace nature: fresh air, sunshine, warmth, and the gentle sounds of nature.
Best Wishes,
Azaaa Davis

The picture makes me think of Treasure Island or the Swiss Family Robinson tree house.
