Hi Readers,
Each week, I’ll share a nature photo that means something to me.
Most will be my own photos taken while on nature walks and outings in New Hampshire.
While it may not seem writing related, I want to share some of my other interests and hobbies as well as the things that fuel my imagination and happiness.

Campfire. It’s a wonderful sight. The crackling, the sparks, the heat, and the inviting smell. I went camping at the beginning of summer and it was the first time in about five years.
A few days away from the humdrum of everyday life, away from consistent stressors, and overstimulation. Being unplugged, less available, less distracted, can be a beautiful thing.
My family and I benefited immensely from reconnecting with each other and nature. If you are able to have technology-free (unplugged) quality time with loved ones, do it. Maybe it’s for fifteen minutes in the morning before you start your day. Maybe it’s for a thirty minute meal. Or maybe it’s an hour at the end of your day before sleep carries you away.
Camping may not be an activity for everyone, but distraction-free quality time is.
Best Wishes,
Azaaa Davis
