Nature Photo 8.4.22 | @azaaadavis #photo #musings #nature #books

August 4, 2022

Hi Readers,

Each week, I’ll share a nature photo that means something to me.
Most will be my own photos taken while on nature walks and outings in New Hampshire.
While it may not seem writing related, I want to share some of my other interests and hobbies as well as the things that fuel my imagination and happiness.

Summer Vacation 2021

Taking a break is important. It’s relaxing. It’s healing. It’s rejuvenating. Downtime is needed daily, weekly and throughout the year. Whether you’re more into day outings, weekend getaways or week long trips across the world, getting away every now and again is worth the planning, and expense.

When I cannot travel, I rejoice the many books, audiobooks and online stories I have available to me. Reading something that interests you can definity feel like a break, reward, or escape. Reading can also feel like traveling as imaginative scenes of distant towns, ancient civilizations or alien cultures from the year 3073 are described.

Dive into your hobbies, explore your interests and see the world. Leaving your comfort zone can spark inspiration and nurture your curiosity. Whether it’s reading a genre you don’t normally read or taking a day trip three hours away, do what you can to broaden your horizons.

Happiness isn’t a guarantee,
and boredom should not be the norm.

Best Wishes,
Azaaa Davis
